In the Flesh
You and your partner have been called out into the middle of nowhere to investigate reports related to an old, unassuming house. As soon as you arrive, experience tells you there is something fundamentally wrong. But this is your job, so in you go. And the thing in the house is not the only one making trouble.
In the Flesh ranked first during the second NarratJam, and was created in the span of about three weeks. This short character-driven horror game was created using the Narrat Engine and inspired by Disco Elysium.
I chose Decay and Guardian from the theme selection, as well as fulfilled the diversifiers A bit fucked up and Everyone's invited (as this is the first game I ever made).
Content Warnings: Meat, Blood, Fire, Mild Body Horror, Unreality, Death, Animal Death, Abusive Workplace Dynamics.
The game is considered complete at 12,451 words and four unique endings.
UPDATE: The new update adds a few small fixes, and includes new, unique illustrations for each ending.
